Discover another secret in the Word of God in the book of Revelation 12:11; "And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death." The questions; - Overcame who? - the devil (v9 - devil, Satan, the dragon, the serpent, v10 - the accuser of brethren) - Overcame how? - *by the blood of the Lamb and *by the word of their testimony... - Why the last statement, "and they loved not their lives unto the death." - this is because, it was a war being fought. - What kind of fight? - the good fight of Faith. For it is only this kind that holds on to eternal life (1 Timothy 6:12), and fought in righteousness. Amplified Bible says in v11 "..., for they did not love {and} cling to life even when faced with death [holding their lives cheap till they had to die for their witnessing]." - well explained. Genesis 12:2-3 reveals the seven-fold blessings of God, which I love to call the seven fold "AND" blessings: ~ And I will make of thee a great nation, ~ and I will bless thee, ~ and make thy name great; ~ and thou shalt be a blessing: ~ And I will bless them that bless thee, ~ and curse him that curseth thee: ~ and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed. This 'Perfection Promise' is only made real on the basis of obedience to a command (Genesis 12:1), and it is only when obedience is complete through faith (James 2:23, John 8:31) that there is a proof of readiness for His 'Perfection Promise. In the book of Ephesians 3:20, two clear secrets were revealed ~ God has the ability to do beyond the human imagination [divine provisioning] . ~ His ability to perform is in accordance to the presence of His power at work in a believer. "Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us ," - Ephesians 3:20 This implies that God's power needs to be fully made manifest in the life of a believer before there can be an experience of His divine abundance. What is God's power ? God's power is the manifestation of His personality, through Christ(The Living Word-John 1(:14)), by the Holy Spirit.
