Divine Rest/Freedom through Faith in Jesus

In the book of Matthew 11:28, Jesus said "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." :29-30 He says: take my yoke, learn of me, my yoke is easier/light. To receive the rest He gives, we have to approach Him [Come unto me]. How then can we approach Him for His rest? Not physically but by Faith. Hebrews 4:1-3 explains that it is by Faith in Jesus through the gospel (because that is how faith is realised - Romans 10:17). Therefore, the rest that Jesus gives, is only gotten when we come unto Him, and we can only come unto Him through Faith in Him (total belief on His Word), as unbelief is a hindrance to that rest [Hebrews 3:18-19, 4:6] Digging deeper into the teachings of Jesus in John 8:30-32; 30 As he spake these words, many believed on him. 31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, "If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; " 32 "And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make y

The Holy Spirit in You as The Mind of Christ

Romans 7:23 - 8:1-2 7:25 "I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin." 8:1 "There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit." So is it possible for a Christian to still be walking after the flesh: YES (if not after the Spirit). 7:25 Paul says, with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin. "the mind" in v25 is not the human mind otherwise it is flesh, rather the Holy Spirit (the mind of Christ given to a believer) Romans 8:8-9, 1 Corinthians 2:12-16. Referencing[*] 1 Corinthians 2:12-16 2:16, "For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ." Jesus said in Matthew 11:27; "All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth a

Victory by the Blood and the Word - Rev.12.

Discover another secret in the Word of God in the book of Revelation 12:11; "And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death." The questions; - Overcame who? - the devil (v9 - devil, Satan, the dragon, the serpent, v10 - the accuser of brethren) - Overcame how? - *by the blood of the Lamb and *by the word of their testimony... - Why the last statement, "and they loved not their lives unto the death." - this is because, it was a war being fought. - What kind of fight? - the good fight of Faith. For it is only this kind that holds on to eternal life (1 Timothy 6:12), and fought in righteousness. Amplified Bible says in v11 "..., for they did not love {and} cling to life even when faced with death [holding their lives cheap till they had to die for their witnessing]." - well explained. Now it is easy to think; oh the war is finished and it has all been fought. (Read thro

The Seven-fold 'AND' Blessings

Genesis 12:2-3 reveals the seven-fold blessings of God, which I love to call the seven fold "AND" blessings: ~ And I will make of thee a great nation, ~ and I will bless thee, ~ and make thy name great; ~ and thou shalt be a blessing: ~ And I will bless them that bless thee, ~ and curse him that curseth thee: ~ and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed. This 'Perfection Promise' is only made real on the basis of obedience to a command (Genesis 12:1), and it is only when obedience is complete through faith (James 2:23, John 8:31) that there is a proof of readiness for His 'Perfection Promise. Remain forever blessed.

The High Priest of Our Confession

What do you confess? The Bible says we overcame (the devil); ~ by the blood of the Lamb, and ~ by the word of our testimony ...[Revelation 12:11] And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven : and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven [Matthew 16:19] >Notice that Jesus said "I will" in the scripture above, for the reason that He had to die and resurrect to guarantee that. Revelation 1:18 I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore , Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death . >>Now notice in the scripture above that Jesus referred to Himself as he that liveth and was dead and alive for evermore,... >>>Also notice that in Matthew 16:19; He promised us the Keys of heaven before His death and resurrection, but in Revelation 1:18 After His death and resurrection he says "...and have the keys of hell and of death&

His EXceeding Abundance

In the book of Ephesians 3:20, two clear secrets were revealed ~ God has the ability to do beyond the human imagination [divine provisioning] . ~ His ability to perform is in accordance to the presence of His power at work in a believer. "Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us ," - Ephesians 3:20 This implies that God's power needs to be fully made manifest in the life of a believer before there can be an experience of His divine abundance. What is God's power ? God's power is the manifestation of His personality, through Christ(The Living Word-John 1(:14)), by the Holy Spirit. Romans 1:16-17 gives an insight to the power of God as being the gospel of Christ (The Word) which reveals His righteosness. _v16 >> For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation...v17>>> For therein is the righteousness of God revealed
